VIRTUAL POST-SECONDARY CAREER FAIRS

2020

how
it
works.

Welcome to SUTIL’s Virtual Post-Secondary Career Fair! Below you will find a virtual booth from each of our post-secondary members, who come from across Western Canada. These booths are available at all times for you to explore! In addition to the booths, you will have access to webinar presentations and drop-in one-to-one sessions with each institution.

Be sure to take time to watch each post-secondary institution’s brief introduction video to gain a sneak peek into what makes each institution unique! Want to know more about housing options or admission requirements? Check out the additional resource section at each booth. Let us help you choose a path that works for you!

live Presentations + drop in conversations

Tune in daily for live presentations every Tuesday and Thursday. Can’t attend during the day? Join us Wednesday evenings for additional presentation times.

Want to chat one-to-one with one of the representatives for the post-secondary institutions that you are interested in? Stop by Wednesday between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a chat!

Live presentation schedule

Live webinar presentations will start at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Full members will present in every time-slot, while associate members will only present in two of the time-slots.

On Wednesday nights, the presentations will start at 6:00 & 7:00 PM. Full SUTIL members will present in each time-slot, but associate member participation will vary.

HOW TO JOIN :

In each virtual booth, there will be a button labelled “Join Our Live Webinar Session.” This button will connect you to that institution’s presentation. If you have not downloaded the FREE Zoom software on your computer or device before, it will prompt you to download the appropriate app. You do not need a Zoom account to join a webinar or meeting. Once you have joined the webinar, it will begin at the scheduled time.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS :

You will not be seen by any other attendees in the webinar session or by the presenter – there is no video or audio feed of you. Your privacy is important to us. All messages sent through the chat or Q/A function will only be seen by the presenter.

Testimonials

Even though I am over a half a Century old, I have been inspired by the group to go for higher education. I have applied to the University of Regina and I got accepted. I plan on taking classes there and there and I pray and hope I will be successful to obtain two more degrees before I reach age 55. I want to be a role model for the students, my family, and the community. Before retiring I will tackle Masters.

Happy Friday the 13th of December,

Thank you for The SUTIL Scoop and the SUTIL team visit at Rhoda Hardlotte Keethanow High School in Northern Saskatchewan. I noticed some of the team members were into Volleyball during the noon hour. Maybe that is how the team works; to have fun and to laugh and to warm up before presenting to the students and staff. Great Team! Thank you once again, SUTIL Team.

Hi Linda and Cheryl,

Thank you on behalf of Nutana Collegiate for bringing your event to our students. I have been hearing nothing but positive feedback in the building since this morning. Being new in the career facilitator role in my building, I can’t tell you how grateful I am for having such a well-organized and easy (from the host school perspective) event to offer to my students. All of the hard work that you have put in is much appreciated. I look forward to future events.
