Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission

The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) oversees and administers the apprenticeship and trade certification system in Saskatchewan; the certification body responsible for issuing journeyperson certificates. We advocate for the skilled trades as being a first choice, hands on career for students. The educational process of apprenticeship differs from that of other post secondary institutions, where apprentices spend approximately 85% of their time on the job, and only 15% of the time in the classroom. There are over 40 skilled trades including carpentry, automotive service technician, cook, esthetician, and more!
