Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission

The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) oversees and administers the apprenticeship and trade certification system in Saskatchewan; the certification body responsible for issuing journeyperson certificates. We advocate for the skilled trades as being a first choice, hands on career for students. The educational process of apprenticeship differs from that of other post secondary institutions, where apprentices spend approximately 85% of their time on the job, and only 15% of the time in the classroom. There are over 40 skilled trades including carpentry, automotive service technician, cook, esthetician, and more!

Presentations start at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Evening presentations occur on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Keep in mind, not all members present in every time slot. View the schedule here.
