Cumberland College, established in 1975, is one of the eight colleges comprising the Saskatchewan Regional College network. Situated in the picturesque central northeastern region of Saskatchewan, Cumberland College operates three campuses conveniently located in the communities of Nipawin, Tisdale and Melfort.
With a goal to provide lifelong learning opportunities today, to prepare individuals and communities for tomorrow, the College maintains a vibrant community presence, offering an ambitious schedule of full and part-time post-secondary programming that prepares graduates for in-demand careers. A full complement of University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina courses are available, including 12 face-to-face classes and labs as well as a wide selection of live streamed and online choices. Students can complete, at the minimum, the first year of almost any University program, close to all the comforts of home!
A variety of technical and trades programs, delivered in partnership with Saskatchewan Polytechnic and more recently, Lakeland College are offered each year. Our standard offerings include a rotation of Applied Certificates in three trades: Electrical, Industrial Mechanics & Carpentry; Certificates in Agriculture Science, Building Systems Technician, Continuing Care Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Health Care Cook, Occupational Health & Safety & Office Administration as well as Diplomas in Practical Nursing and General Business.
