Cumberland College

Cumberland College, established in 1975, is one of seven colleges comprising the Saskatchewan Regional College network. Situated in the picturesque central northeastern region of Saskatchewan, Cumberland College operates with three campuses located in the communities of Nipawin, Tisdale and Melfort. With a goal to provide lifelong learning opportunities today, to prepare individuals and communities for tomorrow, the College maintains a vibrant community presence, offering an ambitious schedule of both Adult Basic Education (ABE) and full and part-time post-secondary programming. A full complement of University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina courses are available via a mixture of face-to-face, televised and online delivery, enabling students to complete, at a minimum, the first year of several University disciplines. Most recently, we expanded our offerings to include the Indigenous Access and Transition Education Certificate (IATEC) from First Nations University of Canada. A variety of accredited technical and trades programs, delivered in partnership with both Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Lakeland College including certificates in Electrical, Industrial Mechanics, Carpentry, Primary Care Paramedic, Continuing Care Assistant, Office Administration, Agriculture Sciences, Disability Support Worker– as well as Diplomas in Practical Nursing and General Business – are all standard post-secondary offerings.
